When using our PhoneSoap devices, it is not uncommon to notice a distinct smell, which is caused by the minor production of ozone from the UV-C light technology. This odor indicates that the device is actively sanitizing and is typically described as a clinical or slightly burning smell, but it should dissipate within a short period of time.
