What is the warranty on PhoneSoap products?

 

We offer a one-year limited warranty on our products. This means we will cover the cost of shipping to our repair team as well as the cost of the repair and return shipping.


LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE

PhoneSoap, as defined below, warrants PhoneSoap-branded hardware products against defects in materials, electronics, and workmanship under normal use to the original end-user purchaser for the Warranty Period. 

If a hardware or electric defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, PhoneSoap will either (1) repair the hardware defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, or (3) refund the purchase price of the product if returned within the first 30 days of purchase. PhoneSoap may request that you replace defective parts with new or refurbished user-installable parts that PhoneSoap provides in fulfillment of its warranty obligation. A replacement product or part, including any user-installable part that has been installed in accordance with instructions provided by PhoneSoap, assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or thirty (30) days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property, and the replaced item becomes PhoneSoap’s property. Parts provided by PhoneSoap in fulfillment of its warranty obligation must be used in products for which warranty service is claimed. When a refund is given, the product for which the refund is provided must be returned to PhoneSoap and become PhoneSoap’s property. You can also extend the warranty by another year by purchasing the Extended Warranty Plan for your product.

Outside that warranty, we require the customer to pay for the shipping to our warehouse, and then we will fix or replace it with a Certified Refurbished unit for free.

 

LIFETIME BULB WARRANTY

We have a lifetime warranty on burnt-out bulbs. Most of our bulbs should last around 4000 hours, but they may burn out! If this happens, we will fix it for free.

Within the first year, PhoneSoap will pay for your shipping charge both ways and the repair—at no cost to you!

Outside of the first year, PhoneSoap asks that you pay to ship us the product, and then we will pay to fix and send back your unit!

 

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMER WARRANTY INFORMATION

We offer our international customers a limited warranty on PhoneSoap products. The warranty guarantees against defects in materials, electronics, and workmanship under normal use.* The warranty does not cover damage caused by failure to follow the product’s usage instructions.

If you experience an issue with your product during normal use, we will do one of the following, depending on how long it has been since you received it.

Within 30 days

If your product arrives defective or there’s a shipping error on our end, we will send you a new unit and cover shipping costs, excluding duties and tariffs.

30 days to 1 year

If your product breaks under normal use, we will send you a refurbished unit and cover shipping costs, excluding duties and tariffs.

Over 1 year

If your product malfunctions after one year, we will send you a discount code you can use toward a future purchase.

  

*All international customers are responsible for fees related to duties and customs.

*All International Sales are final.

*Normal use refers to using the product according to product usage instructions and guidelines.
